Today we are going to make gulab jamun. The ingredients we need for this recipe are milk powder, Liquid milk, Semolina(soaked), Ghee, maida, baking soda, Nutmeg, mace, green cardamom powder Egg, Almond, and pistachios for garnishing sugar and water.
Ingredients
Milk powder 250 gram
Liquid milk 170 gram
Semolina(soaked) 50 gram
Ghee 50 gram
maida 75 gram
baking soda 2 pinch
Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
mace 1/2 tsp
green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Egg 1 piece
Almond and pistachios for garnishing
sugar 500 gram
water 1 glass
Recipe
We need to do five steps for making gulab jamun
Step 1
Take a pan and put liquid milk into it. And boil on low flame When milk gets boiled add ghee into it. Now switch off the hearth. Mix it well when it is mixed completely add powdered milk into it and keep on mixing. Now semolina which is soaked dry it by taking hand full out of semolina from the bowl. And put it in the previous mixture. Mix it again .Put in the refrigerator for cooling it.
Step 2
Now make sheera. Put sugar in a bowl and then put water in a bowl. Put this mixture on the hearth. And keep on mixing it Because without mixing sugar will sit at the end of the bowl and will burn so to avoid this all keep on moving the spoon inside the pan. When it will boil we will put off the fire . It should not be a too thick paste.
step 3
Now put sheera on a very low flame so that it will not get cold. Now mix an egg in a separate bowl.
Step 4
Our first paste is now cold So we will put it in a separate bowl Now put baking powder in that bowl and then mix it completely. Now take Jayful jalwatri powder into it and keep on mixing Then add two tablespoons of mixed egg into it and mix it again. Now add maida into it. And make its dough.
Step 5
Take a small part of the dough and make round spheres with the help of a hand. Then put these round balls in oil to fry when they turn brown then we will put it into sheera. Now put jayful jalwatri powder into sheera Now dish out these round balls Then put almond and pistachios on it for garnishing. Our tasty gulab jamans are ready.
